Toxic Art teams up with Viralbee on “My Pastor,” a sharp, satirical Afrobeat single that pokes fun at spiritual commercialization and blind devotion.
The song uses biting humour to show the pastor’s flashy lifestyle, from designer suits and miracle water to endless demands for tithes, against the daily struggles of the believers. It is not purely cynical, as it also shows how easy it is for people searching for hope to get caught up in the show.
The sound is bouncy and club-ready, with heavy log drums, shakers, and bright brass stabs in an Afrobeat and Amapiano mix.
Toxic Art’s gritty delivery pairs with Viralbee’s chant-backed energy, building into a chorus that feels like a street anthem.
“My Pastor” is a punchy, entertaining listen for anyone who likes a real message inside a dance groove.
