Sounds of Salem turns a personal testimony into a shared moment of worship on “I Am Favoured,” a heartfelt African gospel single about grace, gratitude, and standing as a witness to God’s goodness.
The song is built on the truth that success, protection, and peace come from God’s grace and not from human effort alone. It speaks to anyone who has walked through trials and come out untouched, covered by mercy. Scriptural declarations and sincere thanksgiving carry the message with humility and joy.
Soft piano chords, warm synth pads, and a gentle bassline open like a whispered prayer. Then the music grows into a full-band lift, with strong drum rolls and rich choral harmonies. The vocals move from tender, conversational verses into a powerful chorus that sounds like a whole congregation singing together.
If you need a song to give thanks with, “I Am Favoured” fits the moment well. Play it in the morning, during prayer, or any time you want to remember how far God has brought you.
