Jacquees brings in Atlanta rapper Lil Baby for the remix of “Lick Back,” a smooth R&B trap-soul single about bouncing back, spending big, and enjoying the rewards.
The song is about the thrill of recovering from setbacks and treating a partner to the best things money can buy. The two paint a scene of private jets, designer stores, and easy luxury, showing that resilience pays off.
Jacquees leads with sultry romantic lines, and Lil Baby comes in with sharp, street-smart hustle verses, all in smooth, confident modern slang.
A warm, sub-heavy 808 bassline and snapping hi-hats move with shimmering synth keys and atmospheric vocal chops, giving the beat an airy, midnight-cruising bounce. The low end leaves room, so the vocals stay up front.
If you want a late-night ride soundtrack, “Lick Back (Remix)” is an easy pick. Play it while cruising, or any time you feel like celebrating your own comeback.
